SURVEY - ANDAMAN Is. (VU4) dec 2004
The purpose of our survey was to gain overview, how many stations had already worked rare DXCC country - VU4, Andaman Is.
or had VU4 missing before the incoming expedition. Note that VU4 was activated last time in 1989.
As You know, on 26 december 2004 was East Asia affected by the strong earthquake, subsequently by the TSUNAMI and about 200 000 people there lost lives.
VU4 expedition team started immediately to work in emergency network. Members of VU4 expedition team gained high credit for radio amateur hobby and we can strongly hope, that it make possible to organize
expeditions into the VU4/VU7 DXCC countries soon.

Stations, which worked VU4 in dec/2004, have callsign filled by the green colour in the background..
